The Coastal Pollution Toolbox is a digital working environment and tool set to study contaminant, nutrient and carbon dynamics in temperate and polar coastal zones. It allows to structure investigations and to provide scientifically sound assessments and products to elucidate origin, effects, and mitigation options.

In order to fulfill this purpose and to address the needs of different users tools are distinguished in Science Tools, Synthesis Tools and Management Tools. Under Infotainment and Media, the interested public can get information on pollution research in the form of a variety of outreach and dissemination products.
